A marketing expert, by the name of Perry Marshall once said, "Nobody who bought a drill actually wanted a drill, they wanted a hole” Therefore, if you want to sell drills, you should advertise information about making holes ... NOT information about drills. Think about that statement for a minute ... and then let me ask you this question… When selling drills what would be best? Listing all the features about the drill or talking about how fast and efficient this drill can make a perfect hole. Advertising the hole or the drill? Which do you think would be the more effective approach? If you're not sure, here's a hint. “The business is the drill.” "Succeeding with that business is the hole.” In order to get a hole, you must obtain a drill. Drills come in all different shapes, sizes and capabilities. The same is true of business opportunities. We really do not want a business. We are looking for a better lifestyle. A lifestyle that is easier, then what you have right now. When evaluating, business, opportunity, models, it is as simple as asking and answering 4 questions. A business opportunity that has the potential to allow you to have a better lifestyle, better for you, and your family; in a nutshell is this not, after all, what you and I are looking for? I have studied many business opportunities; I have participated with many and have had much success. Here is a checklist, you can use, that can help you, green light, any choices you are in the process of evaluating and making a decision to go forward with. __Is the initial set up cost for getting started, reasonable and affordable? __Is there a support team in place that is able to work through any questions you may have? __Is this business opportunity a good fit within your overall business plan? __Is there a way offered for you to be paid directly into your bank account? If you have answered these, all of these questions in the affirmative. You can proceed with the understanding that you have to put in the appropriate effort, and be able to hang with it, along with the understanding that it will take time, and your best consistent commitment to obtain the results you want. In the next blog post I will be sharing several income streams that I have personally set up. I will tell you about each one of these, and how they can be used together, each one, using the others, to promote each one and the others. You can follow this same pattern.
